Ivo Staijen has extensive experience in public equity investments in healthcare and biotechnology companies. Currently, Staijen holds the position of Head Public Equity and Portfoliomanager at HBM Partners AG, where Ivo also works as an Investment Advisor. Prior to this role, Staijen worked as an Equity Analyst Biotechnology at Bank Sarasin & Cie and as a Department Head at MDS Pharma Services Switzerland AG. Staijen holds a Ph.D. in Biology from ETH Zürich, a Chartered Financial Analyst degree from the CFA Institute, and has also studied at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and University of Groningen. Staijen's educational background includes a MSc. in Chemistry from the University of Groningen.
