Alisha Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of nuclear medicine technology. Alisha started their career at Dr. Saraswat's Cardiology Office in 2001, where they served as the Chief Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Their responsibilities included performing myocardial perfusion imaging with single isotope and assisting in pharmaceutical cardiac stress testing. Alisha also managed radiation badges, conducted quality assurance checks, and organized meetings. Alisha then joined Baptist Hospital in 2003 as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist/P.E.T. and worked there until 2012. Following that, they worked at Frist Cardiology from 2008 to 2017, where they performed myocardial perfusion imaging and assisted with cardiac stress testing. Currently, Alisha is employed at HCA TriStar Division Careers as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Team Lead.
Alisha Smith attended Austin Peay State University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiological Sciences. Alisha then pursued further education at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from 2000 to 2001, obtaining a Certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
