Hugh F. Johnston is Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of PepsiCo, a global food and beverage company that maintains a product portfolio with 23 brands generating more than $1 billion each in estimated annual retail sales. Mr. Johnston joined PepsiCo in 1987 and has served in a variety of senior leadership positions, including Executive Vice President, Global Operations, PepsiCo; President, Pepsi-Cola North America; Senior Vice President, Transformation, PepsiCo; Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, PepsiCo Beverages and Foods; and Senior Vice President, Mergers and Acquisitions, PepsiCo. Mr. Johnston currently also serves as a member of the board and chair of the audit committee of Microsoft Corporation. Mr. Johnston is active with a number of corporate, NGO and academic organizations, including the University of Chicago’s Booth School CFO Forum Advisory Board, Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management Advisory Council, and the Peterson Institute for International Economics. In addition, he is a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York Advisory Council and the CNBC Global CFO Council. Mr. Johnston holds a B.S. from Syracuse University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
