Sal Herrera

Sal Herrera brings extensive leadership experience in both military and information technology sectors. As the Sr. Director of IT Operations Center at HCA Healthcare since August 2016, Sal has been instrumental in implementing IT Service Management processes aligned with the ITIL framework. Prior military roles include serving as Deputy Commander of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) and as a key leader in the Army’s first Full Spectrum Combat Aviation Brigade deployed in Afghanistan. Notably, Sal's career showcases successful leadership in various capacities, including training and resource management for large teams, while holding degrees in Systems Engineering and Strategic Studies from prestigious institutions.
