Chad Johnston has a diverse background in strategic decision-making and consulting. Chad started their career as a Senior Scientist at Vector Research, Inc., focusing on military analysis. Chad then transitioned to consulting roles at Bain & Company, where they worked on strategy, operations, and organizational issues for various industries. At Pfizer, they served as Director/Team Leader, leading therapeutic area strategy and new product development. Currently, they are the Associate Vice President at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, overseeing strategy, finance, and market analytics support for Penn Medicine. Johnston's most recent role is as the SVP of Strategy & Planning at HCA Houston Healthcare.
Chad Johnston completed their Bachelor of Science in Physics with distinction at the University of Michigan from 1987 to 1990. Chad then pursued a Master of Science in Operations Research/Industrial Engineering at the University of Michigan from 1991 to 1992. Chad also obtained an MBA in General Business from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth from 1996 to 1998.
