Eyal Porat

Eyal Porat has extensive experience in the field of cardiothoracic surgery, holding leadership positions at prominent institutions. Eyal served as the Chairman of the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Rabin Medical Center from 2006 to 2012. Following that, they worked as a Professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston from 2012 to 2020. More recently, Eyal Porat has taken on the role of Director of Cardiothoracic Surgery at HCA Houston Healthcare, demonstrating their expertise and leadership in the field.

Eyal Porat earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 1984 to 1990. Eyal later pursued advanced aortic fellowship in aortic surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston) from 2000 to 2001.
