Michelle Foxx, DNP, RN, ONC has a diversified work experience ranging from being a Certified Nursing Assistant at MedStaff in 2001, to progressing as an RN at Las Palmas Medical Center in 2008, eventually transitioning into roles such as Director of Clinical Applications for Advanced Clinicals/CPOE. Michelle also held positions at St. David's North Austin Medical Center and now serves as the Director of Clinical Informatics at HCA Houston Healthcare, where they have led roles in telemetry management and video monitoring. Michelle's educational journey includes studies at The University of Texas at El Paso and Abilene Christian University.
Michelle Foxx, DNP, RN, ONC, began their education by completing their High School Diploma/Certified Nursing Assistant training at Silva Magnet High School in 2003. Michelle then pursued a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) degree at El Paso Community College, graduating in 2003. Michelle continued their education at The University of Texas at El Paso, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2009. Following this, they completed an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) at EPCC in 2008. Michelle went on to earn their Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) from The University of Texas at El Paso in 2011. Michelle culminated their academic journey by obtaining their Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Abilene Christian University in 2020. Michelle Foxx is also ONC certified.
