Michelle Shelton

Michelle Shelton has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry, primarily at HCA Houston Healthcare. Michelle started as a Lead Medical Technologist and progressed to roles including Operations Supervisor, Operations Manager, Interim Director, and now serves as the Director of Laboratory Operations. Additionally, they briefly worked as an Operations Manager at HCA Healthcare.

Michelle Shelton holds an Associate's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist from San Jacinto College (2004-2006) and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the University of Cincinnati (2010-2015). Michelle further pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Western Governors University (2021-2022). Michelle also obtained several certifications related to medical technology, including Medical Technologist from the American Medical Technologists in 2021.
