Karin Coleman

Karin Coleman is the chief operating officer and director for HCI Group, Inc. She also currently serves as the president of Homeowner’s Choice Property and Casualty Insurance Company, an insurance subsidiary of HCI Group.

Her extensive experience in corporate and strategic initiatives guides her executive management of the company Prior to joining HCI in 2009, Karin served nine years as vice president of Strategic Alliances at Take Stock in Children, Florida’s largest public-private partnership providing college access and assistance to at-risk children. Earlier in her career, she spent thirteen years in various corporate roles at Florida Progress Corporation (NYSE: FPC) now part of Duke Energy.

Karin earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from the University of South Florida and is a certified senior professional in Human Resources.
