Lisa Hardesty, CPA, has extensive experience in accounting and compliance, currently serving as SOX Reporting Manager and previously as Senior Corporate Accountant at HCI Group, Inc. since May 2016. Responsibilities include establishing Internal Controls for SOX compliance, preparing internal control flowcharts, managing Continuous Monitoring projects, and ensuring adherence to GAAP through research and implementation of Accounting Standards Updates. Prior to HCI Group, Lisa worked at Bally Technologies from March 2011 to May 2016, where roles included Senior Staff Accountant and Internal Auditor Staff, focusing on revenue recognition compliance, month-end close tasks, and Sarbanes-Oxley audits. Lisa holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a Master's degree in Accounting from Western Governors University.
