Dylan Sultzer is a financial executive with over a decade of experience in the industry. Dylan currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at HCI Hospitality, a position they have held since February 2013. Prior to their current role, Dylan served as the CFO / CIO / Controller / Senior Financial Analyst for Action Pact Holdings, a consulting and development business.

Throughout their career, Dylan has led multiple internal and external projects in healthcare and real estate, Leveraging their entrepreneurial vision and innovation to conceive, design, and build businesses from the ground up. Dylan has also partnered with executives, legal teams, lenders, equity partners, and clients to ensure successful portfolio management.

In addition to their work in the financial industry, Dylan has also been integral in designing multi-year investment financial models to evaluate acquisition and development opportunities for real estate properties. Dylan has also underwritten prospective investment opportunities and developed investment criteria across multiple sectors, including technology, biotechnology, senior housing, multi-family housing, and commercial real estate.

Leveraging private and public debt, mezzanine debt, private equity, and public/private partnerships to structure capital financial alternatives is another one of Dylan's specialties. Dylan has successfully led the financing of projects totaling $250M+.

Dylan is also experienced in liaising between capital market participants, including equity partners, brokers, and lenders as well as legal teams, appraisers, feasibility teams, and other stakeholders. Dylan has even integrated a multi-software technology platform to create a seamless software integration for end-users.

Most recently, Dylan led the successful validation and underwriting of potential project investments for 2020; however, these projects were delayed or cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dylan Sultzer has a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology from Kansas State University, as well as a Bachelor's of Science / Study Abroad in Kinesiology from Deakin University. Dylan is currently pursuing a Master's of Business Administration - MBA with a focus in Finance from Kansas State University.
