Laurent Sifre is a co-founder and CTO of H Company since May 2024, bringing extensive experience from DeepMind where Sifre served as Principal Scientist from August 2014 to April 2024, contributing to significant projects including AlphaGo, AlphaFold, AlphaStar, and large language models. Previously, Sifre co-founded CamTrackr and was the Tech Lead, focusing on iOS and Mac app development and cloud backend development. A brief tenure as an intern at Google involved work on neural networks for large-scale image recognition, while an earlier internship at Sony dealt with cloud image synthesis for climate prediction software. Sifre holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from École Polytechnique and dual Master of Engineering degrees from École Polytechnique and Ecole nationale des Ponts et Chaussées.
