Valter Ferreira da Silva

Valter Ferreira da Silva has extensive experience in the field of health information technology, currently serving as Vice-Coordinator of the Technology and Innovation Park at HCPA since August 2004. Valter holds multiple leadership roles at HCPA, including Coordinator of the Strategic Committee for the AGHUse Community, member of the Innovation Collegiate, Senior IT Advisor, and member of the Digital Governance Committee. Previous positions include CIO and CTO roles at HCPA, as well as an Information Technology Analyst at PROCERGS and CIO at CORSAN. Valter's academic credentials include ongoing PhD studies in Health Information/Medical Records Technology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, a Master's in Clinical Research from HCPA, and several specialized degrees in Hospital Management and Information Technology, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
