Elodie Vandenhaute

Project Director at HCS Pharma

Elodie Vandenhaute has worked in a variety of roles in the medical and pharmaceutical fields since 2006. Elodie began their career as a Bachelor Student (volunteer experience) at Serasem in 2006. In 2007, they moved to the Immunology Laboratory, Lille Medical faculty, Research Department as a Master Student. In 2008, Elodie Vandenhaute started a PhD Researcher position at the Blood-brain barrier laboratory (EA 2465), Universit\u00e9 d'Artois. In 2012, they moved to the Children's hospital, Universit\u00e4tsmedizin Mannheim, Heidelberg University as an R&D Engineer (post-doctoral researcher). In this role, they worked on the Impact of chemokines on the migration of neuroblastoma cells through brain barriers in vitro. Elodie was also responsible for writing articles, grant proposals, communicating results and supervising and training a MSc student. In 2014, Elodie Vandenhaute returned to the Blood-brain barrier laboratory (EA 2465), Universit\u00e9 d'Artois as an R&D Engineer (post-doctoral researcher). Finally, in 2017, they began working at HCS Pharma as a Project Director and Project Leader in vitro pharmacology.

Elodie Vandenhaute has a diverse educational background. Elodie began their studies in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Cell Biology and Physiology from Université d'Artois. Elodie then continued their studies at the same university, graduating with a Master's Degree in Life Sciences in 2007. Elodie followed that up with a one-year degree before postgraduate studies at University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology in Physiology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology & Neurosciences. Elodie then completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physiology, Cellular and Molecular Biology at Université d'Artois in 2011. Most recently, Elodie Vandenhaute is currently pursuing a Master in Management Executive, Formation continue at IAE Lille in Business Administration and Management, General.
