Founder And Co-executive Director at HCS Technology and Global Health Initiative (TGHI)

Aurelia H. Chen is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in research, leadership, and health innovation. Currently serving as a Medical Anthropology Researcher at Harvard Medical School, Aurelia is leading a mini-ethnography study on telecommunication-based eldercare services in Shanghai. As Founder and Co-Executive Director of the HCS Technology and Global Health Initiative, Aurelia focuses on advancing global health equity through innovative solutions. In addition, Aurelia founded Detester Magazine, a nonprofit promoting social justice and empowering youth of color, and oversees numerous impactful projects. Aurelia is also a Global Health Ambassador with the Harvard Global Health Institute and has held multiple research and analyst roles across reputed organizations. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Global Health & Health Policy from Harvard University, Aurelia has a strong academic background complemented by previous studies at Bard College and Bard High School Early College.
