Bridgett Waples

Bridgett Waples serves as the Lead Digital Communications Consultant at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas since April 2018, managing multiple online communities and overseeing software and vendor relationships. With extensive experience at the same organization from 2001 to 2016 in roles ranging from Social Media Specialist to Digital Marketing Specialist, Bridgett developed expertise in community management, online reputation strategies, and technical support for digital platforms. Prior experience includes roles at Watkins & Shepard Trucking Inc. as an eCommerce Project Manager and at Globe Pequot Press and AT&T in various marketing and customer service positions. Bridgett holds an MBA in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Carroll College.
