Dr. Ashley Cottone

Dr. Ashley Cottone, MBA, DBH, serves as the Chief Of Staff and Executive Director for Executive Communications and Community Relations at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas since May 2017, following a progression of roles within the organization since 2008, including Director of Market Strategy and Plan Support. Prior experience includes positions at Aetna as a Licensed Broker Liaison. Dr. Cottone holds various insurance licenses from the Texas Department of Insurance and possesses a diverse educational background with a Bachelor's degree in Financial Economics and Managerial Advertising from Southern Methodist University, an MBA from Texas A&M University, and a Doctorate in Behavioral Healthcare Management from Arizona State University.
