Mounir Mahdade

Mounir MAHDADE is a Senior Weather Data Scientist at HD Rain since January 2023, focusing on satellite data processing and manipulation. Previously, Mounir served as a PhD Candidate Researcher at CNES from December 2018 to August 2022, engaging in remote sensing analysis, river morphology, numerical simulations of floods, and inverse modeling to predict river discharges. Prior roles include Hydraulic Engineer and Hydrology/Hydraulics Researcher at Sorbonne Université, where Mounir optimized hydraulic modeling codes and analyzed river morphology. An internship as a Flood Engineer at Collectif Toits pour le Sud involved studying the impact of climate change on Morocco. Mounir holds a Doctorate in Geoscience and Data Science from Sorbonne Université, a Master's in Continental Environments and Hydrosciences from Pierre and Marie Curie University, and an Engineering degree from École Hassania des Travaux Publics.
