Varun Malik

Varun Malik has extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Zonal Head for HDFC Bank in Mumbai since December 2019. Prior to this role, Varun spent nearly 18 years at Standard Chartered Bank, where responsibilities included Executive Director and Head of Client Relationships for the South Region. Varun's career began as a Personal Financial Consultant and progressed through various roles such as Cluster Head for Punjab & UP, Branch Manager, and Relationship Manager, each focusing on business development, client servicing, strategic planning, and operational excellence. Varun holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and a Senior Secondary degree in Science from RDJPS, Delhi.
