Abhishek Nayak, FICA, currently serves as the Head of Strategy, Risk & Compliance and MLRO at HDFC International Life and Re since September 2014. In this role, Abhishek integrates strategic planning with comprehensive risk management and compliance frameworks, positioning the company at the forefront of regulatory adherence and market innovation. With extensive expertise in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Enterprise Compliance Management (ECM), Abhishek has developed and executed strategic plans that enhance governance, optimize risk profiles, and cultivate a strong compliance and ethics culture. Prior to HDFC, Abhishek held key roles at the National Payments Corporation of India and Infosys, focusing on strategy, policy, and risk management. Abhishek holds multiple Master’s degrees in Governance, Risk and Compliance, Finance, Investments, Securities, Finance, Accounting, and Commerce from prestigious institutions.
