Niraj Shah

Niraj Shah is the current Executive Director & CFO at HDFC Life. Prior to this, they were with PNB MetLife India Insurance Co. Ltd from May 2015 to February 2019, where they held the title of Chief Financial Officer. Niraj has also previously worked with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited from March 2004 to April 2015 as Senior Vice President - Head Products, and with EY Corporate Finance from January 2002 to October 2003 as part of their Corporate Finance practice focused on M&A advisory, valuation and transaction structuring. Finally, they also worked with BNP Paribas Investment Banking from September 2000 to November 2001 as part of their Corporate Finance team focused on M&A and sell side PE deals.

Niraj Shah has a postgraduate degree in business management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, as well as a chartered accountancy qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Niraj also has a bachelor's degree in commerce from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics. Prior to this, they completed their ICSE examinations at Jamnabai Narsee High School.

Their manager is Vibha Padalkar, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with Pankaj Gupta - Group Head, Distribution Strategy and Alliances, Prasun Gajri - Chief Investment Officer, and Srinivasan Parthasarathy - Sr. EVP and Chief Actuary.
