Dennis Hofmann has extensive work experience in the insurance and consulting industry. Dennis currently holds the position of Chief Risk Officer (CRO) Deutschland at HDI Group since January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Quantitative Risk Management for Life at HDI Group from January 2022 to January 2023. Dennis also held the role of Head of Valuation Models - HDI Deutschland Risk Management at HDI Group from August 2015 to December 2021.
Before joining HDI Group, Hofmann worked at EY as a Senior Manager in Actuarial Services from April 2009 to July 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte from October 2006 to March 2009. Dennis began their career at AXA as an intern and scholar from February 2005 to March 2006.
Dennis Hofmann started their education at the University of Duisburg-Essen in 2000 and completed their studies in 2006, earning a degree in Wirtschaftsmathematik (economics mathematics). From 2006 to 2009, they attended the Deutsche Aktuarakademie and obtained a degree as an Aktuar DAV (actuary DAV).
