Michelle Shaw

Michelle Shaw has a diverse work experience history. Michelle started their career in 1988 as a Sr. Merchandise and Working Lead at Disneyland where they worked in all aspects of retail. In 1997, they became an Assistant Store Manager at Toys R Us, where they managed 15+ employees and trained them in customer relations, cash handling, and loss prevention. In 1999, they worked as a Fashion Merchandise Analyst for Wet Seal, Inc and was responsible for product distribution and fashion forecasting. Michelle also worked as an Accounting Specialist for CPS Insurance Services, Inc where they prepared and maintained accounts payable files and worked as a liaison to ensure accurate compensation for agents. In 2002, they worked as a Merchandise Analyst for Wet Seal, Inc where they analyzed fashion trends and distributed merchandise accordingly. Michelle became a Sr. Licensing Specialist for CPS Insurance Services, Inc in 2003, where they managed professional relationships between life insurance carriers, CPS affiliates, and independent agents. In 2010, Michelle became an Officer, Compliance Specialist for Bank of America where they managed vendor/third-party relations, built long-term affiliate agency relationships, and had expert level experience in performing state regulatory related filings. Her most recent job was as a Compliance Inspector at HdL Companies in 2019 where they developed a thorough understanding of California cannabis policy reforms and business regulations for all types of commercial cannabis enterprises with respect to business operations, security, and compliance procedures. Michelle researched regulations, reviewed and rated cannabis-related license applications, and conducted oral interviews. Michelle's acting experience included working as an actor at Actor's Studio of Orange County in 2018, where they were responsible for translating writers' ideas into full-blown characters with unique gestures, accents, body language, movement, and trademark dialogues.

Michelle Shaw has pursued education in various fields. Michelle earned a Paralegal Degree in Law from the Southern California College of Business and LAW. Michelle completed a Dance program at Irvine Valley College and achieved an AA in Liberal Arts from Cypress College. Michelle also obtained an Accounting Certificate at Fullerton College. Michelle holds a Black Belt, Shodan (rank) in Goju-Shin Ryu Karate from the American Martial Arts Academy. Later, they studied Acting for Film Technique at the Actors Studio of Orange County. Michelle also earned an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies at Cypress College. Michelle furthered their acting education at The Actor's Studio of Orange County for Acting, and Acting for Film and Television, and obtained certifications such as a Shodan-First Degree Black Belt from the American Martial Arts Academy.
