Christine Bennett has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Christine began their career in 2004 as an Admissions & Operations Associate at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Program Coordinator at the CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF MUSEUMS, where they managed logistics for annual events and conferences. In 2008, they joined Technology Vision Group LLC as an Assistant Conference Director until 2011. Bennett then worked at WaveStaff as a Marketing, Sales & Recruiting Manager, focusing on sales, marketing, and social media efforts. Christine also served as the Client Services Director at Zoomedia from 2012 to 2014, where they managed client relationships and oversaw various digital marketing projects. Additionally, Bennett worked as a Conference Logistics Manager at Allicense by Deloitte in 2012 and as a Conference Production Manager on contract at Technology Vision Group LLC during the same year. In 2013, they took on the role of Edibles Crawl Coordinator and Social Media Contributor at Event Santa Cruz, organizing monthly events and highlighting local entrepreneurs. Christine'smost recent position was as the VP of Digital Marketing at HDMZ, a full-service integrated life sciences marketing and communications agency.
Christine Bennett completed their B.A. degree in Environmental Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2002 to 2006. In 2003, they also attended the University of California Extension for a field studies program focused on tropical rainforest and coral reefs. In addition to their formal education, Christine has obtained various certifications throughout the years, including the Confluence Fundamentals Badge and Jira Work Management Fundamentals Badge from Atlassian in August 2023, the OneTrust Certified Privacy Professional certification from OneTrust in March 2023, and the Contextual Targeting Essentials certification from Basis Technologies in September 2022. Christine also holds certifications in LinkedIn Marketing Solutions Fundamentals, LinkedIn Marketing Strategy, and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Essential Training, all obtained in 2021. Christine has further certifications from Demandbase, Google, DoubleClick, Microsoft, and HubSpot, which were obtained between 2014 and 2020.
