Courtney Stewart

Courtney Stewart, PE, currently serves as an Environmental Project Manager at HDR since November 2024. Prior to this role, Courtney held the position of Senior Environmental Engineer at Platte River Power Authority from August 2015 to November 2024, where significant projects included leading bottom ash and coal combustion residuals process pond closure remediation and a landfill upgrade project. Earlier experience as an Environmental Engineer involved overhauling spill prevention control and countermeasure plans and preparing operational plans and permitting documents for waste, wastewater, and stormwater. Courtney began as a Project Engineer at Stewart Environmental Consultants, LLC, focusing on the commercialization of technologies related to industrial and domestic wastewater treatment and energy utilization. Academic credentials include a B.A. in Civil Engineering from Carroll College Montana and ongoing pursuit of a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Colorado State University.
