John Tabor

John Tabor, FAIA, NCARB, NCI, EDAC, LEED, is the National Director of the Industrial Facility Design Business Class at HDR, bringing over 40 years of leadership and project management experience to the field. They have coordinated complex projects valued between $20 million and $300 million, including a Federal Medical Center and various healthcare and corporate facilities. Tabor's extensive involvement in professional organizations includes being a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects and past president of AIA/Charlotte. They hold a Master's in Business Administration from Duke University and two degrees in Architecture from Clemson University. Active in community leadership, Tabor served on the Charlotte City Council and Planning Commission for 13 years and has been involved with Rotary International since 1999.
