Norm Nelson

Norm Nelson is a highly experienced engineering professional with a focus on commissioning and energy solutions. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at HDR since May 2022, Nelson has held key positions in various firms including National Facility Solutions, LLC, SiTESPAN LLC, and Jacobs, where contributions spanned from commissioning authority to strategic consulting in energy solutions. Notably, Nelson specialized in energy efficiency retrofits and mechanical system commissioning during tenure at CH2M, following significant roles in engineering leadership at Hilton Worldwide, CH2M HILL, The McCarty Group, Engineered Solutions, and Building Systems Rx. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University and an Associate of Science in Engineering Technology from Oregon Institute of Technology.
