Richard Whitaker

Richard Whitaker is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in managing large-scale construction and engineering projects. Currently serving as Managing Director at HDR since May 2019, Richard oversees project delivery across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East, focusing on high-quality service for clients. Prior to this, Richard held the position of Director at HDR | Hurley Palmer Flatt Group since September 2012 and was a Divisional Director in Energy and Sustainability at HurleyPalmerFlatt from October 2008 to September 2012. Earlier in Richard's career, positions included Divisional Manager and Associate at ebmpapst from January 1997 to 2007. Richard holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from the University of Surrey.
