Sam Laity

Sam Laity is a Geotechnical Project Manager with extensive experience in heavy civil infrastructure projects since starting their career in 2013. They have held significant roles such as Site Engineer at North Canterbury Transport Infrastructure Recovery and have worked at AECOM for over a decade, where they developed expertise in site investigations, geotechnical design, and construction oversight. Currently, they are furthering their career at HDR while leveraging their analytical and report-writing skills in various geotechnical software. Sam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Geography and Geology from the University of Plymouth and a Master’s degree in Applied Geotechnics from the Camborne School of Mines.
