Christian Valerio-Herrera

Christian Valerio-Herrera, MBE-ICPL, is a seasoned Project Manager and Principal Geotechnical Civil Engineer at AFRY, with extensive experience in business development for renewable energy, mining, and transportation infrastructure projects. Since joining AFRY in October 2019, Christian has worked collaboratively with international offices and diverse stakeholders, including governments and private contractors. Prior to AFRY, Christian operated as a freelance Geotechnical Design Engineer, served as an Infrastructure Procurement Specialist at UNOPS, and held various roles at UNDP and MYV Soluciones Geotécnicas. Christian's educational background includes a Master of Business Engineering from the University of Stuttgart and an Academic Master in Civil Engineering from Universidad de Costa Rica, among other qualifications in coaching and yoga therapy.
