YoungJoon Yun is a Design Coordinator at HDR since September 2023, previously serving as an Architecture Designer at NBBJ Design from August 2022 to September 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Design Researcher with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism from September 2021 to June 2022, where YoungJoon collaborated with the South Korean Minister of Land and Tourism to launch an exhibition in New Haven, Connecticut, showcasing the use of AR in restoration projects and promoting Korean culture. YoungJoon was also a VR Artist-Panelist at Indigenous Scholars of Architecture, Planning and Design (ISAPD) in 2021, employing game engines for architectural insights. Earlier experience includes contributions as an Architecture Designer at Dongbang Construction CO., LTD, working on the Hotel Ramada project, and as an Architecture Design Intern at IRE Design Studio. YoungJoon holds a Master of Architecture from Yale University and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Syracuse University.
