Bernard Mangold has over 30 years of experience in the technology and business management industries. Bernard began their career in 1990 as a Senior Manager at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting). In 1998, they became the SVP Global Head of IT Programme Control at Greenwich NatWest, where they directed the definition and delivery of an enterprise-wide component-based architecture. From 2000 to 2003, they were the Vice President of Technology at Overture Services, Inc., and then the Director of Research Engineering at Yahoo! from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, they became the Senior Director of Business Management at Microsoft, where they led the Business Management function for the Senior Vice President of the Business Platform Division and built the Business Management team. In 2011, they became the Chief Technology Officer and Advisor at SirenGPS. From 2012 to 2015, they were the Founder and Chief Executive at Incubation Partners and the Chief Technology Officer at Addion. In 2015, they became the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at Health2047, Inc., and in 2020, they became a Partner at Discus Ventures.
Bernard Mangold obtained a BSc in Biochemistry from Imperial College London between 1983 and 1986, and a PhD in Chemistry from the same institution between 1986 and 1989.
