Bala Arunachalam is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in strategic leadership and operational excellence in IT. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of the HD Supply Global Technology Center in Chennai, India, Bala has successfully established the center's strategic foundation and aligned its vision with corporate objectives. Previous roles include Director of Technology at The Home Depot Canada, where Bala led cloud modernization and transformation initiatives, and various technology leadership positions at The Home Depot over a span of 16 years, focusing on finance technology and e-commerce solutions. Bala also holds a certified independent director position at the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs and has a robust educational background with a Master’s in Operations Management and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.
