Thomas Van Doren

Thomas Van Doren is the current CTO & VP of Engineering at HDT Global. Thomas has over twenty years of experience in the engineering and robotics field.

Van Doren started their career at MacroSonix Corp. in 1993 as Chief Engineer. In 2000, they left MacroSonix to become the Director of Engineering at New World Associates, Inc. Thomas remained in that position until 2008 when they joined HDT Global as Vice President of Robotic Systems.

In 2011, Van Doren left HDT Global to become the Chief Operating Officer at HDT Robotics, Inc. Thomas held that position for three years before returning to HDT Global in 2014.

Thomas Van Doren received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to that, they received their Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.

Thomas Van Doren reports to Juan A. Navarro, President & CEO. They work with Todd Nelson - VP & CIO, Greg Miller - SVP, Marketing & Strategy, and Steve Stasiak - VP, Supply Chain & Continuous Improvement.
