Angie Garcia has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Angie started their career as an intern at The Ross Group in 2011 and later worked as a Marketing & Public Relations Intern at Wine Country Weddings Magazine in 2012. Angie then became the Manager of Operations at The Ross Group from 2012 to 2013.
From 2013 to 2016, Angie joined Turner Broadcasting System as a Sales Assistant, where they assisted in building digital and linear media proposals and decks for various Turner channels. Angie later transitioned to the role of Sales Planner, responsible for Upfront negotiations and working across the entire Turner portfolio.
In 2016, Angie joined the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board as a Membership Sales Manager until April 2020. Their responsibilities included managing membership sales.
Most recently, Angie joined Headgum in 2020 and held the position of Account Executive. Angie was then promoted to Director of Sales, West Coast in January 2022.
Angie Garcia completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies at Sonoma State University from 2008 to 2012. In July 2020, they obtained the certification of "Edge Academy Certified: Data-Driven Planning" from The Trade Desk. Additionally, they have certification in "Edge Academy Certified: Marketing Foundations" from The Trade Desk, although the exact month and year of obtaining this certification are not specified.
