Max Dama

Max Dama is a Partner at Headlands Technologies LLC, a global quantitative proprietary trading firm headquartered in Chicago, with offices in Austin and Amsterdam.

He earned a B.A. in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, and Business from the University of California, Berkeley in 2011. He joined Headlands Technologies a week after graduating, becoming in his first year the lowest paid quant in firm history.

Max grew up in Florida, then attended boarding school in Tennessee. He started trading in high school, then did automated trading in college, finding an arbitrage strategy during one of his internships.

He enjoys rock climbing, surfing, running, and the food in the Headlands Technologies pantry.
