Shaun Kiernan

Shaun Kiernan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. In 2019, they served as the Chief Technical Officer at Headlight, where they helped high-growth companies with media execution, analytics, strategy, and technology design. At KIXEYE, Shaun held multiple roles from 2013 to 2019, including Principal Engineer, Senior Director of Engineering, and Technical Director of Analytics Engineering. In these positions, they oversaw various operations such as product marketing engineering, customer service tooling, analytics/data engineering, and live operations for core KIXEYE titles. Shaun also rationalized and consolidated data engineering at the company, resulting in significant cost savings. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Owner at RevenueWire Inc., where they introduced changes to enhance development workflow and led the migration to a new platform. Shaun also served as a Product Owner and Programmer at Terapeak, where they were responsible for ensuring adherence to product roadmaps and worked on front-end development for their market research and analytics software. Before that, Shaun worked as a Software Engineer at CAMACC Systems Inc., primarily focusing on video surveillance software development. Shaun began their career as a Programmer/Analyst at the University of Victoria in 2006.
