Alex Pentland

Alex 'Sandy' Pentland is a Senior Research Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) and a founder of Sila. Pentland serves on the Board of Directors for the UN Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data and is a co-founder of Cogito Corp. Additionally, Pentland acts as an advisor for Akoya. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science, Psychology, and AI from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
