Marizayda Torres

Marizayda Torres currently serves as the Therapy Network Manager and Instructional Designer at Headspace since September 2021, where responsibilities include content development as a counseling subject matter expert and coordination of design with marketing, leading to significant engagement metrics in training efforts. Marizayda has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Healing Touchstone since July 2017 and has held roles at Valencia College, including Adjunct Faculty and Program Coordinator, before transitioning to Seminole County Public Schools as a Social Emotional Learning Specialist/Trainer. In this role, Marizayda developed digital resources and instructional materials, positively impacting over 63,000 K-12 students. Marizayda holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Stetson University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, and an Associate’s Degree in Psychology from Valencia College.
