Diya Bansal has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Mentorship at HeadStart Fellowship, where they empower diverse students to achieve their career goals. Diya also serves as a HeadStart Fellow at the same organization. In 2023, Diya will work as a Software Development Engineering Co-op at Amazon Fulfillment Technologies & Robotics and as a Software Engineering Intern at Bloomberg. In previous positions, they held roles such as Lead Developer in the Mobile App Team at Cornell University Sustainable Design (CUSD) and Summer Intern for Machine Learning at Metacube Software Pvt Ltd. Diya also has experience as a Lead Organizer & President at TED Conferences, where they organized TEDx Youth conferences and created TedEd curriculum for students. Additionally, they have served as Alumni Relations Co-Director and Career Development Co-Director at Women In Computing At Cornell.
Diya Bansal attended GEMS Education from 2009 to 2021, where they completed their ICSE & ISC education at GEMS Modern Academy. In 2016, they also briefly studied cryptology at the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY). Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Class of 2025) at Cornell University.
