Jemima Joy Gbadago

Jemima Joy Gbadago is a Junior Researcher at City University of Hong Kong since August 2016, focusing on the motivational factors of Korean migrants to Hong Kong and reviewing literature on migrant workers. Core responsibilities include conducting literature reviews, participant recruitment, developing survey questionnaires, conducting in-depth interviews, and writing reports. Jemima has achieved three first-author publications in the Global Labour Journal and one research paper on ResearchGate, primarily centered on migrant and immigrant issues. Additionally, Jemima serves as a Teacher Trainer for Conversational English Lessons at Headstart Group Ltd since October 2016, where workshops are conceptualized, planned, and delivered. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Modern Asian Studies from City University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Sejong University.
