Jay Gauvin

Jay Gauvin is a skilled professional with extensive experience in optical technology and manufacturing. Currently serving as a Senior Manufacturing Optical Technician at Headwall since November 2023, Jay specializes in the assembly of remote sensing unmanned vehicle hyper-spectral sensor drones and payload sensors. Prior to this role, Jay worked as an Optical Technician at Teledyne Princeton Instruments from May 2019 to April 2023, focusing on the assembly of Czerny-Turner Spectra Pro HRS spectrographs. Additional experience includes positions as an Opto-Mechanical Technician at L-3 Communications and BAE Systems, and as a Master Optical Assembler at Northrop Grumman Corporation. Jay’s foundational education was completed at New Hampshire Vocational Technical College between 1987 and 1988.
