Irene Jang

Irene Jang is a seasoned product design professional currently serving as the Product Design Lead for Providers at Headway since August 2024. With prior experience as a Staff Product Designer focused on Billing & Payroll at brightwheel from January 2022 to August 2024, Irene has also held roles as a Senior Product Designer & Researcher for Classroom & Districts at Khan Academy, a Design Practice Group Lead at Table XI, and a Product Designer at Nelson Cash. Earlier career stages include UX/UI Designer-in-Residence and Apprentice at Flatiron School, alongside a foundation as a Math Teacher at Bolingbrook and Centennial High Schools. Irene Jang earned both a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
