Simon Haeder currently serves as an Associate Editor for Health Affairs Scholar and as an Associate Professor of Public Health at Texas A&M University. Previously, Simon held positions as an Assistant Professor of Public Policy at Penn State University and as a Fellow in the Interdisciplinary Research Leaders Program, which focuses on applying research to community challenges. Simon's academic career also includes roles as an Assistant Professor at West Virginia University and a Doctoral Student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where Simon earned both a Ph.D. and an MA in Political Science. Earlier experience includes project management and development roles at various organizations. Simon's educational background encompasses multiple degrees from California State University, Fresno, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
