Charles Tischer (Chip)

Charles "Chip" Tischer has a diverse work experience in various roles related to marketing, communications, community outreach, and strategic partnerships. Charles "Chip" is currently serving as the Director of Community Outreach & Strategic Partnerships at Health Alliance Plan since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Strategic Marketing Manager - Medicaid/MMP at the same company from April 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining Health Alliance Plan, Chip worked at Centene Corporation for six years, starting in April 2015. During their tenure, they held the position of Manager, Marketing & Communications from April 2016 to March 2021 and previously served as a Communications Specialist from May 2015 to April 2016.

In 2014, Chip worked as the Interim Marketing and Communications Manager/Community Relations Coordinator at Huron-Clinton Metroparks.

Charles "Chip"'searlier experience includes working as a Community Liaison at the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner's Office (WRC) from January 2009 to February 2014.

With their extensive background in marketing, communications, and community outreach, Chip brings a valuable skill set to their current role at Health Alliance Plan.

Charles "Chip" Tischer has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science/Public Policy from Western Michigan University. Additionally, they have completed a fellowship program, the Michigan Political Leadership Program (MPLP), at the Michigan State University - Institute for Public Policy & Social Research. Chip Tischer also holds a certification as a Notary Public, obtained in October 2003 from Oakland County, State of Michigan.
