The Programs and Workforce Initiatives team at Health & Medicine Policy Research Group works to advance health equity and social justice through strategic programs and workforce development. The team oversees initiatives like the Schweitzer Fellowship, which engages emerging health professionals in community service, and the Illinois ACEs Response Collaborative, which addresses trauma and its impacts. They also analyze workforce trends and pathways, develop strategic workforce initiatives, and manage health workforce systems to ensure a robust, equitable healthcare workforce in Illinois.
