Sarah Newton

Sarah Newton has a diverse leadership background with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. Currently serving as Chairperson for the Employers' Initiative on Domestic Abuse and as Chair for the Health and Safety Executive, Newton also holds the position of Non Executive Director at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust until April 2024. Previous roles include Director at the Hall for Cornwall Trust and Member of Parliament in the House of Commons from 2010 to 2019. Newton's earlier career featured significant positions such as Director at the International Longevity Centre - UK and Consultant for Federazione Alzheimer Italia. Additionally, a strong foundation in fundraising and marketing was established as the Fundraising & Marketing Director for Age Concern England and as Marketing Director at American Express. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in History from King's College London and studies at the Graduate School of International Studies at the University of Denver.
