Allana Leblanc

Allana LeBlanc is a seasoned health policy and research professional with extensive experience in public health and epidemiology. Currently serving as a Senior Policy Advisor at Health Canada since March 2021, LeBlanc previously held roles as an Epidemiologist at the Public Health Agency of Canada and a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Additional expertise includes serving as Knowledge Manager at ParticipACTION and Research Coordinator at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. LeBlanc has a solid academic foundation with a Doctor of Philosophy in Population Health from the University of Ottawa, a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Queen's University, and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Biology and Kinesiology from Acadia University. Skills include media communication, project management, and complex statistical analysis.
