Amélie Vézina

Amélie Vézina, Ph.D., serves as a Clinical Assessment Officer at Health Canada | Santé Canada since February 2021, focusing on the safety, quality, and efficacy of drug products through scientific evaluations and regulatory analyses. Prior to this role, Amélie completed postdoctoral fellowships at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke and the National Cancer Institute, where responsibilities included investigating brain and tumor vasculature dynamics, managing research laboratories, and mentoring students. Amélie's academic background includes a Doctorate in Biochemistry and a Master's degree in Physiology from Université du Québec à Montréal and Université de Montréal, respectively, alongside foundational studies in Biomedical Sciences.
