Nisrine Haddad

Nisrine Haddad currently serves as the Manager of the Data and Evidence Division at Health Canada since December 2021. Previously, Nisrine was a Senior Epidemiologist and Team Lead at the Public Health Agency of Canada, overseeing key programs such as HIV/AIDS National Surveillance and Communicable Disease Surveillance Infrastructure from December 2015 to January 2022. Additional roles at the Public Health Agency included Acting Manager positions leading stakeholder engagement and biosafety standards. Earlier experience includes managing the Chemical Precursors Section at Health Canada and serving as a part-time professor at the University of Ottawa, where Nisrine taught various health sciences courses. Nisrine is currently pursuing a PhD in Pharmacoepidemiology at the University of Ottawa, complementing a strong educational background with a Master's degree in Cell Biology and a Graduate Diploma in Population Health Risk Assessment.
